It is especially for those genres important to meet with our metadata guidelines, as your metadata can be easily made too generic in those genres which can cause issues from the DSPs. Make sure to review our metadata guidelines and those from the DSPs thoroughly before distributing your release.

Important Note:

Please be aware that releases containing tracks as ASMR, Field Recordings, White Noise, or Binaural Beats may not be eligible for distribution to certain Rights Management DSPs. These include Facebook Rights Manager, YouTube Content ID, TikTok, SoundCloud, Snap. As well iTunes/Apple Music, Shazam and Facebook Audio Library don’t accept these type of content.
