How Does the Distribution Rights Clarification Form Work?
How Does the Distribution Rights Clarification Form Work?
Updated over a week ago

Occasionally, we may ask you to complete a Distribution Rights Clarification form. This request could be due to random sampling or to verify your rights to a particular release. Our goal is to maintain the integrity of the music industry and prevent fraudulent activity.

If you have an urgent release date, we recommend proactively filling out the Distribution Rights Clarification form immediately after distributing your release. This way, your release won’t be delayed or rejected due to a pending form request, and it can be sent to stores as quickly as possible. In rare cases, we may ask for additional information.

Please note that the form can only be completed after a release has been distributed, not before.

To clarify your distribution rights, go to the Requests Section once logged in and select "Distribution Rights Clarification." Fill in the required information about your release, and our Inspection Team will review it.

If your release is rejected due to the need for clarification, submit the form and redeliver your release. You can simply redistribute the already created release. Once everything is in order, we will promptly send your release to all selected stores.
